MedMisr is the Egypt's 1st Digital Healthcare Benefits Management Startup that provides Medical claims management services for Insurance companies, starting from the first Medical point of service.

MedMisr aims to reshape the Medical insurance Industry through eliminating the traditional paper claim form, offering a cost optimization solution with complete new user experience, connecting all stakeholders online and providing protection against fraud.

MedMisr is a startup founded in March 2018 and was selected to join Flat6labs acceleration program, a regional startup accelerator program that fosters and invests in bright and passionate entrepreneurs with cutting-edge ideas.

Management Team

Bassem Yassin

Founder & Cheif Executive Officer

Founder of MedMisr, with 12 years of experience in finance, accounting and Medical Health Insurance TPA Management. Bassem holds a bachelor degree in commercial science from Ain Shams University, and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Ahmed Farouk

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer

Co-Founder of MedMisr, with 11 years of experience, from which 7 years in Interest Rate & Liquidity Risk & Enterprise Risk Management, in addition to 4 years in Retail & Institutional Banking. Ahmed holds a bachelor degree in commercial science from Ain Shams University, and a candidate for CFA Level 3 exam.

Tamer Ahmed

Co-Founder & Cheif Financial Officer

Co-Founder of MedMisr, with 11 years of experience in finance & founder of Brands warehouse outlet online shopping service with 3 years of experience in digital marketing. Tamer holds a bachelor degree in commercial science from Cairo University

Mohammad Kaddah

Medical Network Director

Medical Network Director of MedMisr, with 18 years of experience in Medical network management. Ahmed holds a bachelor degree from faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University, and an MBA from Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Kareem

Medical Director

Medical Director of MedMisr, with 12 years of experience in Medical Insurance. Dr. Mohamed holds a bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery from Monufeya University and Total Quality Management Certificate (TQM) from the American University in Cairo (AUC), Hospital Management Certificate from Manchester School of Business and Green built Six Sigma.
